Our Perspective about KUDO.
Kudo is a combative sport with seriously deep Martial Art foundation “BUDO”. The founder of Kudo is Grandmaster Azuma Takashi. Kudo emphasize safety over glory whenever combat situation occurs.
In Malaysia Kudo is led by Malaysia Kudo Federation (MKDF). Our establishments in the country is registered under Societies Act 1966.
MKDK is currently preparing ground efforts to officially work together with Kudo International Federation (KIF). MKDK is looking forwards to recruit new students & athletes from Malaysia to be able to visit & train under the Grandmaster Azuma Takashi in Japan.
TECHNICALITIES OF KUDO
KUDO training routines are similar to most Karate training. Students will be conditioned to toughen up their mind & body to counter the attack executed by opponent. Strict discipline in KUDO is the paramount point to master in every training.
Kumite in KUDO training are segregated based upon level (grade/DAN/ Kyu) achieved by each students. This exercise is to ensure safety of each athlete when they are engaged in a fight situation.
In combative sport arena, special KUDO head gear i.e. helmet & visor (transparent screen) are used to provide protections from impact & strikes that comes & hit the face or head area.
Aside from combat aerobic exercises, mixture or combo of punches, jabs, kicks & throws are the core components of KUDO physical training. Students will be taught to way to fight & to manage their decreasing stamina. This methods is also useful during the real sporting situation or when facing real life threat & attack.
